An amazingly old culture compared to my own Australia, sophisticated, and beautifully adapted to the land. The lifestyle of the people on the land is often not much different to what it has been for thousands of years. The country is vast and varied, from freezing open plains in the north, through amazingly fertile, productive land, to the endless mountains and subtropical rice country of the south.
